Who am I?
My name is Gabriel, and I'm from Montreal, Canada. I grew up in an atheistic environment and never heard the gospel or met a Christian until my twenties. At 22, I began questioning the world around me and realized it wasn't as I had been taught. Through testimonies and objective reasoning, I discovered that God and the devil were real. Soon after, I realized that the Bible had been inspired by God and I gave my life to Christ, finding the hope and purpose I had been missing as an atheist.
Why did I start a podcast?
What is the podcast's purpose?
The podcast is aimed at unbelievers of all kinds. The purpose is for them to hear about Jesus through stories and topics they are interested in. I’m not here to preach to the choir, which is why my channel doesn’t "look Christian." God called me to reach the lost through testimonies—just as He reached me when I was an atheist. We do this by the power of testimonies (Luke 8:39) and by exposing the works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11).
What do I believe in?
I hold to all the core beliefs of the Christian faith: that Jesus is the Son of God, who died and rose on the third day; that He is fully man and fully God; that He is the only way to the Father; and that salvation is by grace through faith. I’m denomination-agnostic, though I lean more toward a Protestant theology. However, I don’t require my guests to share my convictions—any testimony that glorifies Jesus is one I am wiling to platform.
How do I choose my guests?
Contrary to what many would believe, we have a very extensive guest evaluation process which has been developped and refined throughout the years. God has equipped our small team of 3 servants with the necessary gifts and every story is considered with much prayer and discernment. These are two of the Biblical principles we use to judge every story:
(1 John 4:1-6) "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. This is how you can know God's Spirit: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human is from God."
(2 Corinthians 13:1) "Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses."
